I finally got a tattoo this Friday - one day before I turned 19.
Sorelle means Sisters in Italian, and the flowers are apricot blossoms. The house we grew up in was owned by my great-grandmother since it was built, and she planted an apricot tree in the front yard when she first bought it. It was there until my great-pieceofshit-uncle kicked us out.

A few things about college.
-I absolutely adore my roommates. Marti and Melissa are amazing.
-I love my Differential Calc and Italian 1 classes. The professors are hysterical.
-I don't really like my other class. It's a required writing class that all freshman take during their first quarter here, and it's just a bunch of hippie bullshit.
-I stay up way too late every night. 2 AM is my typical bedtime on a school night, and who knows how late I'll be up til on the on the weekends. It was 4 and 6:30 this past weekend.
-I'm sick of dining hall food. Our dining hall sucks, so we walk over to another dining hall for most meals, but I'm tired of their food, too. I don't know where to go for meals anymore.
-Living in an apartment is pretty awesome. Dorm bathrooms suck and I'm so very happy that I don't have to use them. Also, we have an oven. That means that my roommate bakes cakes and cookies. A lot. So good.
-I've definitely gained weight since I've been here. It has to be from all the desserts in the dining halls.
-I hate doing laundry. Thank goodness I brought enough socks and undies to last me for almost a month.
-I worry that it may be too soon to say this, but I have a boyfriend. We've been "seeing each other" for a little over a month, and I realized last weekend that I didn't know what to refer to him as. So, I asked, and we decided that the titles of boyfriend and girlfriend fit. He's really nice and funny and I really like him, so I hope it lasts. I think it will.
